Woolly Mammoth Tusk Money Clip
This one of a kind money clip is made of fossilized 15,000 year old Ivory from the tusks of the Woolly Mammoth. The undersides of the Woolly Mammoth tusks often show wear, suggesting that they were used in scraping snow and ice off the ground cover vegetation during feeding. Woolly Mammoths also used their tusks for protection against predators, attraction during mating and as a display of dominance to other Woolly Mammoths. The longest recorded tusk was almost 16 feet long and weighed 208 lbs.
